In order to tell good Chinese stories and spread good Chinese practices, the Peoples Medical Publishing House launched Public Health in China Series, which introduces the development and experience in China public health，with comprehensive, objective and accurate data support. Public Health in China Series includes 10 volumes, which will be published in 2017 and 2018.

Liming Li, professor of School of Public Health, Peking University Health Science Center, Beijing, China. He is the former Director of China CDC and the former Chair of Board, Peking Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing, China. He received Honorary Fellowship of the UK’s Faculty of Public Health in 2010
